RUSH on Colbert Report

Three Rush items today.  First, I just finished reading Masked Rider.  This was Neil's first book.  Like most first time book authors it didn't get much play until Ghost Rider came out.   Masked Rider is a book chronicling Neil's bicyle trip across Africa.  It was pretty good, and confirms that I NEVER want to bicycle across Africa.  Ever.

Second, Darby and I went to the Rush Snakes & Arrows Tour at RedRocks a few weeks ago.  It was as great as it was the first time….ahh, two times I saw them on the last leg of the tour.  All in all, I have to say that Chicago, at Tinley Park, was the best sound of the….ahhh… three times I have seen dates on this tour, but RedRock's is soooo epic it was awesome as well.  Having Darby there was really cool.  I can always say I took her to her first concert.

Third, I got an email minutes ago from Tim Clair who knows I'm a hopeless, fanatical, Rush fan.  He told me that RUSH is on Colbert Report.  Fortunately, we Tivo Colbert (ahh, on three Tivo's) so I was ready to go.

NOTE: Viacom shut down the clip of Rush on Colbert on YouTube (i got my hands slapped).. When will these guys learn that they just shutdown their leadgen for new viewers for Colbert.  New media is a slow process.

I was a bit nonplussed that Colbert stumbled onstage in the middle of the song and then it got cut short, but then there was the opening segment the next day...was it all a bit? Good stuff if so.
